Unlimited backup from multiple devices
Backup data from desktop and laptop computers, external hard drives, or network storage devices. All data, files, customer records, and database records from any computer, drive or device are kept in one central place - with no storage limits.
Automated, continuous backup
Configure backups to run whenever and however - hourly, daily, or continuously. Schedule backup rules once, and experience peace of mind going forward that files are safe and protected.
Remote access
Access ElephantDrive files from any computer at any time, by logging into the account at ElephantDrive.com. Quick and easy access any time files are needed – whether at an important business meeting, travelling, or just simply away from the desk.
Incremental backups
The system is designed to recognize only newly created or modified files each time a backup is run. An incremental backup system is efficient and quick.
File archiving
ElephantDrive doesn't simply mirror the hard drive - it archives all the data. Files that are backed up are preserved and accessible forever.
Mapped drive
Map the ElephantDrive account to the hard drive, which will show up as a new lettered drive and give access to files directly from the hard drive.
Storage
Delete already backed up files from the hard drive, and they will be maintained and stored in the account. Also, upload and store files to the account on an ad-hoc basis.
Encryption and data security
Files are encrypted with military-grade AES encryption using a 256-bit key. Rest assured knowing that data is backed up and stored under the highest standards of data protection and security.
Compliance
Automated, continuous data protection of business records serves as a de facto business continuity plan. The system allows to easily conform to a variety of third party compliance regulations such as HIPAA and Corporate Governance.
Open/in-use/locked file backup
Make use of MS Windows Volume Shadow Copy service to backup files that are open or in use.
File sharing
Share files and information with colleagues, clients, or customers. Recipients can easily access and store shared files in their own ElephantDrive account.
